     This is my confession. Need I say anymore? Spangel is hot and smart and funny and perfect. Spangel for the win. 

I saw in the notes you said this is your confession. I reblogged the original confession but I feel this needs to be said directly to you in case you don’t look at the notes. You say you’re a bisexual woman in your blog description. You should know better than to oppress other queer people (even fictional depictions) like this.  

Quit ascribing heteronormative gender roles to gay men. This goes for any slashers who do it. You clearly have never met a gay couple in your life. They are both men. Neither of them is the wife or the husband. Neither is the girl or the boy, or whatever rigid gendered terms you want to apply to them. Quit putting your heterosexist bullshit labels on them. It’s completely offensive. (And this goes for lesbian couples as well though I have yet to see it.)

Go out, talk to some gay men, and see how much they like being referred to as the “wife” or the “husband”. It’s gross and frankly, it functions as a system of oppression as you try to push society’s concepts of homonormativity of what makes a “good” gay (as in one who falls in line with heteronormativity and gender roles).

Stop it. Honestly.
