I just really love Angelus’s extreme heterosexuality

This is my weird train of thought on this so stick with me, cause I can’t get it out of my head.

Angelus is Angel without a soul, without a conscience. And for the most part, conscience is not an innate thing. It is something that is conditioned. Right and wrong vary on a host of factors including socialization and culture.

So if you remove that, what do you have left? No nagging voice telling you that fluid sexuality is wrong. And considering all the research points to people having a much more dynamic sexuality than a mere binary of heterosexual and homosexual, I wonder if we could use Angelus as a comment on how sexual expression is deeply influenced by cultural socialization to sexuality? (Like maybe we are all sexual fluid, it’s just that we’ve been conditioned to think in binaries)

Of course, then that gets into a kind of icky territory if someone with a fluid sexuality is also a psycho killer. Rather maybe just think that if you weren’t told that fluid sexuality was wrong, then what?
