30 Days of Characters of Color Day Eight: Favorite non-white character in a comedy show If I stay there can be no party. I must be out there in the night, staying vigilant. Where ever a party needs to be saved, I’m there. Where ever there are masks or if there’s tom foolery in joy, I’m there. But sometimes I’m not because I’m out there in the night staying vigilant, watching, lurking, running, jumping, hurdling, sleeping. No I can’t sleep. You sleep, I’m awake. I don’t sleep. 30 Days of Characters of Color Day Five: Non-white character you relate to It’s strange. I don’t have any childhood memories unless I cook them into existence. You wouldn’t believe how fun and warm my father used to be. Back then, after school, before the dinner rush, he’d bake me bracelets made of bread. I used to have a ring full of spices and sugar diamonds made from dough. He enjoyed letting me play in the big kitchen. Jia-Jen was so jealous. -Jia-Chien (Eat Drink Man Woman)

Day One: Favorite non-white male lead character

Cookie (or xlivvielockex for you noobs) gave me thsi 30 days thingy. Bear in mind I don’t really do fandoms much so this is my taste. First one that came to mind is Laurence Fishburn as Othello. Firstly, look at this hot piece of man ass right hurr. I mean seriously? Really? That was fucking ridiculous. I’m a huge lover of Shakespeare. No really huge and Othello happens to be one of my favorites. You put Mr. Fishburn in that role and holy fucking shit it’s magic. Watch this-Anyone who does Shakespeare that well, gets me all sorts of tingly. Mr. Fishburn is right at the top of my list. Nevermind that during Othello reading or watching it I have never wanted to see two men do it more than Iago and Othello. I’m talking like man on man serious almost hate fuck. I’m kind of pervy that way. Another reason I love this is because, when it came out I had younger peoples of color I talked to about books and things, and not a one of them had ever seen or heard a black man speak that way and it was pretty thrilling for me to introduce them to it. That is all. Cookie am I doin’ it right? ETA…LOL LOL LOL I was going to do the other one but this one was right in my inbox. LOLS @ myself.

 LMGDAO This is SO my day twenty-five. I love you for this. I can’t wait until we get down to the mythology section. So much win. SO MUCH WIN!

First off they want 12 large pizzas, one cheese, one Hawaiian extra pineapple, 2 pepperoni black olives, 2 meat lovers. Seriously, nobody’s writing this down? Seriously? One Triple-Shot Half-Caff Moca Latte. Three of the latest copies Hall & Oates CD… I know right, exciting stuff, I didn’t know they were still coming out with a new one either. Um, we’re gonna need some steaks people and a grill. Okay they need your overalls, I don’t know why. We need some Kibbles ‘n Bits. We need a Etch-A-Sketch, someone likes to squiggle.
