THE HALCYON TRILOGY

Book One:
With two terms behind her, former President Kelly (Charisma Carpenter) decides to leave her fortune 500 company in the capable hands of her assistant and retire to St. Thomas. But she won’t be going alone as her best friend and campaign advisor (David Boreanaz) follows her. Unable to deny their attraction any longer, friend explodes into passion under the tropical sun. Paradise is short lived though as Kelly’s former Vice President Mike (Viggo Mortensen), Secretary of State Nikki (Rosario Dawson) and Secretary of Defense Shannon (Thandie Newton) show up to warn the pair of an impending global event.
 Book Two:
Picking up with the arrival of Kelly’s former cabinet, they reveal to her that her arch-nemesis Lena (Gwyneth Paltrow), now disposed dictator of Switzerland (hey, they could only stay neutral for so long before someone took them over!), has The Halcyon Key. The Halcyon Key is a device capable of synchronizing all the world’s nuclear weapons at once, causing a nuclear holocaust and destroying all life. Told in a series of flashbacks set in Washington, D.C. and Berne, Switzerland, we see how Kelly, through a secret mission, removed Lena from power and how Lena used Kelly’s own devious brother (Luke Wilson) to gain access to The Halcyon Key.
Book Three:
This is the action packed conclusion to the trilogy! Starting off in London, we find the group meeting with the man who raised Kelly, her Uncle and mentor (Stephen Fry).  Between the two of them, he and Shannon are able to create a device to track The Halcyon Key. Lucky for them, Nikki is able to man the car since she was a former NASCAR winner. And Kelly’s Vice-President? A crack shot Navy SEAL. Couple that with her campaign advisor’s sense of humor and charm, they just might make it. It’s Lena’s team of trained mercenaries against Kelly’s ragtag cabinet as the final showdown weaves it’s way across Europe in pursuit of The Halcyon Key.
